Optimum has been supporting law enforcement agencies with NIBRS products, records management
solutions, intelligent search engines, and software and consulting services since 1994.
Our singular focus on law enforcement allows us to dedicate 100 percent of our talent,
expertise, and financial resources to working in partnership with law enforcement and criminal
justice agencies. As a privately- and employee-owned company, we are controlled only by the
needs of our customers.
Our staff has more than 50 years of experience working with criminal justice agencies in the
public and private sectors. We are proud that they are recognized for their expertise, and are
regularly invited to participate on standards and policy committees.
We respect the difficult and vital work of law enforcement. And we understand that the solutions
we develop play a vital role in crime solving and prevention. That's why we hire only
experienced and capable staff who share our customer-focused philosophy of Competence,
Caring, and Commitment
Our close collaboration with law enforcement began in 1994. We developed our flagship
products - SWIFTPROTECT and SWIFTCONNECT - for Ohio's law enforcement agencies
when no other solution in the market met their needs
Working closely with criminal justice agencies, we developed the first statewide search
engine for law enforcement. Today, more than 20,000 law enforcement, courts, corrections,
and probation professionals from Ohio and surrounding states tap into Ohio's installation of
SWIFTCONNECT (named the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway - OHLEG), executing more than 4 million searches annually.
Also, more than 7,000 individuals and 500 agencies in Ohio rely on SWIFTPROTECT for streamlined records management,
NIBRS, and Clery reporting. The solution is hosted by the Ohio Attorney General's office.
